IF IT HAS BEEN A VERY LONG DAY, YOU ARE ‘WEARY’. IF SOMEONE IS ACTING IN A WAY THAT MAKES YOU SUSPICIOUS, YOU ARE ‘WARY’.
ALL IN ‘DUE’ TIME, NOT ‘DO’ TIME
‘PER SE’ NOT ‘PER SAY’

IT’S ‘MIGHT AS WELL’. ‘MIND AS WELL’ DOES NOT MAKE GRAMMATICAL SENSE.
What People Think Being Bisexual is Like vs. What It’s Really Like.
This is 100% true.
Also, one time me and my ex were in a pub, just chilling and discussing LGBT-relevant current events, and some creeper came up and propositioned us for a threesome. No introducing himself, no chit-chat. He literally climbed over the edge of our booth and asked for a threeway.
Being Scotland, other people were appropriately appalled, and the bartender felt so bad he made the creeper pay for our tab.

Does anybody else get ‘ugly block’ more often than writer’s block? Where you want to write, you know what to write, and you have the time to write, but everything you put down on that paper is just ugly as all sin.
The words don’t fit together and your flow is off and your vocabulary feels cheap and you’re just completely convinced that all your good writing from the past was a fluke that you’ll never be able to replicate. It’s soul crushing.
Honestly, I’d take a million doses of writer’s block to completely eradicate ugly block.
Oh my god I thought I was alone it’s so comforting tho to know I’m not!!
the phrase “curiosity killed the cat” is actually not the full phrase it actually is “curiosity killed the cat but satisfaction brought it back” so don’t let anyone tell you not to be a curious little baby okay go and be interested in the world uwu

Meaning that relationships formed by choice are stronger than those formed by birth.
Let’s not forget that “Jack of all trades, master of none” ends with “But better than a master of one.”
It means that being equally good/average at everything is much better than being perfect at one thing and sucking at everything else. So don’t worry if you’re not perfect at something you do! Being okay is better!
It goes to show that conformity isn’t always a good thing. And that just because more than one person has the same idea, doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a good idea.
what the fuck why haven’t i heard the full version to any of these
“Birds of a feather flock together” ends with “until the cat comes.”
It’s actually a warning about fair-weather friends, not an assessment of how complementary people are.
I’ve always felt like these were cut down on purpose.
I really like these phrases and plan on spreading this knowledge.
The early bird catches the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.
I want to make designs out of these.
Funny how all the half-finished ones encourage uniformity and upholding the status-quo, while the complete proverbs encourage like…living exciting, eclectic lives driven by choice and personal passion.
